I would like to purchase an Infrared Floodlight with 960nm for under $200.00. Does anyone know of good light or can you point me in a direction to look? Thanks for the help in advance.

Thanks,
John...

Ian can get infra red spot light kits but we don't know how bright they are and they don't come with a case. It's just the ir led's on a circuit board. I can't remember the price but I thought it was like $20 or something. Anyway you can talk to Ian about that if you'd like. We were going to order some and test them out but due to some financial problems we will not be able to that at this point in time.

Here's a cool website for some ir illumination but they are expensive. I thought you would like to look at it anyway. I found it interesting.

I'll keep looking and if I find anything then I post it.

Here's a link that talks a little about making your own ir illumination.

The kit that Ian can get is like this except that it might have a lower amount of led's, I'm not sure.

Here are some just to look at. The first one has my interest.

Any thoughts on these?

I like the top one the most but a problem I see with it is that you wanted 960nm wave length and this is from 850nm and up so it's more then just 960nm. Another thing I noticed is that the battery can last 25 minutes on a single charge and can not be powered directly from an AC or DC source so you'd need to get several batteries with it.
