Just curious if you have had any information on the Hoop Lake area of the Uintas. I had a vocal scream experience about 10 years ago there. I’m planning a small backpacking trip in that area in may-June time frame. Any luck with squatching up there?

This was a very weird weekend. We started out by getting chased by thunderstorms on the pass, to spending out first night hovering in our tents as the lightning struck all around us. We had a nice Saturday, fishing and hiking. That day we saw horse campers settle in the meadow next to where we had put up shop. That night we heard what could only be described as a combination of a woman screaming and howling if you can imagine such a thing. What was particularly alarming for me is the horses in the next meadow camped were uneasy all evening. I heard their riders more than once go over and try to calm them down. We finally got tired and crashed out. The next day on the way out it was dropping gropple on us, which is snow like pellets, and it was cold as hell. We saw what looked like a bare foot track in the mud, and were both puzzled at who would be running around in bare feet in these temps? I have heard recordings and they sound a lot like what we heard. I have had multiple experiences which were not normal for the wilderness. This was one of them, a weekend which will play over and over again in my mind.

really enjoyed your insight. After reading your comments it helped me gather my own thoughts in a better manner, since this year I have had won wild ride of incredible sasquatch sightings. I have been reading about their behavior for years, but when I had my first encounter experience, I thought I absorbed more new knowledge of them in a matter of hours, than everything that I have read about. And what you wrote sums up that new experience. I can not believe how incredibly stealthy they are. Beyond belief. And it was their curiosity that must have compelled them to sneak into my parents house while I was visiting. That was one crazy night. I did not here them until after the fact………but the smell……………..footprints in carpet. hair on window sill…..pictures knocked over. Mike

I, too, feel that they are really smart. In my own squatching events and personal experiences, I feel that they know us, and know how to keep away from humans. I hope to get a picture soon. We had a bear siting this weekend at the Currant Creek area, but it grunted 3 times at the person walking the trail before she realized what she thought it was. I’ve been grunted at, too, and not had anything happen. I knew it wasn’t a bear. Thanks for all your postings. I really like them. Keep it up.

My father grew up as a child in Wyoming. He left and joined the Navy when he was 18. Where he lived does not exsit anymore but is near Granger. The reason we have not found any body is because like elephants, that go to a grave yard, these Squatches do the same thing. It is in Wyoming. I don’t want to blurt it out as we don’t need thousands of people hunting them down. My father told me and my brother stories while growing up and we thought he was off his rocker until my wife and I have seen three. My brothers family and mine took his ashes to the place where he grew up. Those were his wishes. While there, we found prints and took pictures.

Greetings, In July of 1996, my wife and I saw a dirty silver/gray Sasquatch only fifteen feet away. It was daylight at 7pm. We both saw details of the Squatch that were amazing. The only thing between us was small five foot stream. We were not scared or did we take off running. My father lived in Wyoming as a kid growing up so he told me and my brother many episodes that happened to him. I always thought he was B.S.ing me. In 1999 my job relocated me to Centralia Washington. Since living in WA. we have both seen two more. One was at our bedroom window just a week ago.

I read that the picture in question was proven to be a fraud that the BBC didn’t find out about until after it’s publication, I can’t remember where I read it I think it was on the website about.com(paranormal section.).
