Back Packing for Sasquatch…

by Moose Magnet. 3 Comments

This year I am going to go back packing for one of our Squatching trips. We know of a place that could yield some good results. I am hoping because of the remoteness of the location that we will have some first or possibly have them not be as guarded. I don’t believe this place has been targeted before or if it has not very frequent. I have had individuals tell us that Bigfoot has left prints in the area around their tents and done other things on a more dramatic scale then when we have been camping close to where vehicles can reach. This should also limit the population of other campers. I would like to tell you more as to why I am so motivated to hike back into this area but I don’t want to give to much away. The flip side is if things get hairy we are not close to a vehicle to just bug out if we feel the need. I have yet to be in that type of situation but you never know.

Where are you going? I would try Cuberant Basin in the Uintas. We had a pretty crazy encounter with eye shine in that basin Labor Day weekend 2010. And something stole our fish that were knotted up at Cuberant #3.

Just curious if you have had any information on the Hoop Lake area of the Uintas. I had a vocal scream experience about 10 years ago there. I’m planning a small backpacking trip in that area in may-June time frame. Any luck with squatching up there?
